During this difficult period that we are all facing, maintaining your mental health is very crucial. Covid-19 has lead to big changes happening all of over the world and now many people are working for home and forced to stay inside to protect their health. So there is no reason of wearing make-up and dressing up as normal, right?


Well according to many psychologists there is an important reason behind that as "It is more likely that people will suffer mental health problems because they may have lost things that normally keep us emotionally well."

Therefore, waking up and dressing up as normally would help you maintain a daily routine and will help you stay sane and improve your mental health during lockdown.



So next time you don't feel like you need it, think again. Here is 5 ways to help you motivate yourself in the morning.


1. Do it for yourself.

If you dress up even when you are not seeing anybody, it also means that you appreciate and value yourself.

2. Wear the same things as you usually do.

Wear what you would normally have worn if you were going to work.

3. Try new styles.

Experiment, take a look around social media, fashion blogs or magazine and create different styles and ideas.

4. Make decisions the night before.

Before going to bed you can just spend a few minutes thinking about what are you planning to do and wear next day. This will help you manage and fill your day better.

5. Organise your wardrobe.

If you have not done it already, then this is a great way to clear up your wardrobe and take a look of the clothes that you really need.
